I didn’t take any selfie’s though. I did get one shot as we were leaving the park.
Here’s some of what I learned at the game:
Watching the players work really hard, both mentally and physically is so inspiring. And although it’s a game, you have to play it with strategy and skill. You have to be prepared. You have to rely on others and you have to listen to your coach. You have to be completely in the moment or you’ll miss something.
Yes, all the baseball game metaphors I’ve heard my whole life are TRUE.
Go outside. Play well with others and as a team. When you strike out – let it go and get back in the game. And, even though sometimes I need a good cry – there is no crying – in baseball.
