On Dec. 7 and 8, I'll be performing in a play! It is the world premier of Parcel From America, directed by my friend JR Sullivan. In the show, I play a lonely widow at Christmastime in Ireland in 1950, who is waiting for a package from her son, who has run off to America to make his fortune. Filled with charming characters, beautiful songs, and moving reminders about what makes this time of year so special, Irish Theatre of Chicago is delighted to offer TWO concert performances of this rollicking, joyous, and family-friendly new Christmas musical that will start your season with tapping toes and a heart full of holiday cheer!
Then on Dec. 13-15, I'll be performing in JR Sullivan's Hometown Holiday. This will be a very bittersweet Hometown Holiday because this will be the last year for this wonderful show that I've been blessed to be a part of for the last 15 years!
Last but not least, I hope you'll join me on Dec. 21 at Uncommon Ground in Edgewater where I'll perform holidays classics like "I'll Be Home For Christmas" and "Away In A Manger," as well as other folk/pop favorites and original tunes with the wonderful and talented duo Bad Ass Librarians opening the show and joining me for a sing-along of your favorites too!
